Quick Summary
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) to identify qualified manufacturing and supply sources for a MANIFOLD, HYDRAULICS (NSN: 4730-01-326-1804, Part Number: 7-211810013-7) in support of the APACHE weapon system. This SSS will help determine if future efforts can be competitive or set aside for small businesses. Responses are due June 23, 2026.
Scope of Work
The DLA is seeking firms capable of producing the specified hydraulic manifold. The government currently does not own the data rights for this part, and reverse engineering is deemed uneconomical, leading to current procurement under FAR 6.302-1(a)(1) (limited responsible sources). Qualified contractors will be responsible for:
- Recurring and nonrecurring engineering services to become a qualified source.
- All aspects of the manufacturing/production process.
- Supply chain management, logistics, forecasting, long-lead parts procurement, material forecasting, and obsolescence issues.
- Final delivery of assets and any associated costs.
