Scope of Work
The vendor shall provide all material, labor, travel, and supervision for a comprehensive environmental monitoring system. This includes a site survey, procurement, deployment, system activation, testing, training, warranty, and maintenance for 76 locations, including SPS areas and Reusable Medical Device (RMD) storage rooms. The system must ensure compliance with VHA Directive 1116(2).
Key requirements include:
- System Functionality: Standalone monitoring, alarming, and reporting platform, with future Building Automation System (BAS) integration capability.
- Monitoring Parameters: Temperature, Relative Humidity, Differential Pressure, Door Position, and Air Changes Per Hour (ACH).
- Data Management: Minimum one year local storage, 1-minute logging interval, and 4-hour battery backup.
- User Interface: Secure web-based, mobile-responsive interface with color-coded status, dashboards, and automated reporting.
- Alarms: Multi-level notifications (on-screen, email, SMS, voice) with escalation chains, 24/7 operation, and a target delivery of less than 2 minutes.
