• Terminal Usage: No restrictions on terminal usage for USGOV missions. Previously used terminals include Marterneri, Sintermar, Alto Fondale, and Darsena Toscana. Terminals must accommodate both RORO and LOLO vessels up to 300 meters.
• Vessel Volume Estimate: Livorno is projected to have 3-4 strategic vessels annually. Tombolo is projected to host two missions per year, each involving at least two coaster vessels for 5-6 day round-robin voyages. These are subject to future determinations.
• Tombolo Dock Crane: No crane is available at Tombolo Dock/Camp Darby. Coordination with 839th TBN and installation is required for authorization to enter Pisa Ammunition Storage.
• Staging Area Rate: There was an error in the IGCE/SOR format. The staging rate (line item 179) should be a daily charge (DY), not monthly (MTH). The unit measure is SQMT, with an estimated quantity of 20,000.

Amendment 4 will be issued to correct the staging area rate format.

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines the requirements for Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) for the import and export of Defense Transportation System (DTS) sponsored and non-sponsored cargo through the Ports of Livorno and Tombolo Dock, Italy.
