Scope of Work
This RFI seeks sources for the manufacture of ACV hovercraft skirts for the SSC craft. Skirt materials and manufacturing processes must meet the requirements of Amphibious Craft, Air Cushion Project Peculiar Document No. 802-6336529E and Landing Craft, Air Cushion Project Peculiar Document NO. 802-6336530C. Materials and processes are subject to approval by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), and skirts will be fabricated in accordance with NSWC PCD drawings. Access to these documents is limited to DoD and U.S. DoD Contractors only.

- Competition: This procurement is anticipated to be based on other than full and open competition for these approved suppliers due to their unique capabilities (FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(ii)). NAVSEA does not expect to approve new first article submissions.
- Set-Aside: The Government reserves the right to consider a Small Business Set-Aside or 8(a) Set-Aside based on responses to this announcement.
