Purpose

Scope of Work

The requirement is for the purchase and delivery of two (2) new electric-powered, stand-up counterbalance forklifts. These forklifts are intended for material movement in warehousing, distribution centers, and manufacturing environments at TYAD. Key specifications include:

  • Quantity: 2 Stand-Up Counterbalance Forklifts.
  • Type: Electric-powered, stand-up operator configuration.
  • Load Capacity: Not less than 4,000 lbs at a 24-inch load center.
  • Maximum Lift Height: Minimum of 185 inches.
  • Power System: 36-volt AC electric with a high-performance, sealed, maintenance-free Lithium-ion (Li-ion) or equivalent industrial battery, designed for side-extraction, offering a minimum of 8 hours continuous operation and a recharge time of 2 hours or less (20% to 100% capacity).
  • Safety Features: Include operator presence sensing, regenerative braking, audible alarms, blue LED pedestrian warning spotlight, forward-facing LED headlights, and a four-post overhead guard.
  • Brand Name or Equal: Preferred is UniCarriers SCX40N2-36 Volt (E) 4000 lb. 24" Load Center. Equal items must meet all functional, performance, and essential physical characteristics outlined in the DRAFT Minimum Specifications.
