Scope of Work
The requirement is for STEEL GRIT, GRIT SIZE 40, which must meet SAE J1993 HCS G40H specifications, with a minimum hardness of HCS G (1)H 60 HRC. Particle shape must contain no more than 5% round or half-round particles. No variations to this description will be considered. The grit can be shipped in 50 lb bags.
Deliverables & Certifications
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) / Material Certification Report is required, which must include a statement that the product meets SAE J1993. The COA must detail the manufacturer name, product name/description, specification, lot/batch number, manufacture/expiration date, analytical data, a statement of no change in materials or processes, and the signature of an authorized representative. Packaging labels must also include manufacturer name, product name/description, lot/batch number, and manufacture/expiration date. COC/COA approval by MCAAP AO is required before contract award.
