Scope of Work
The contractor will supply a comprehensive range of sterile bags, including:
- Plain wire-close bags
- Gusseted bottom wire-close bags (with/without write-on strips)
- Wire-close bags with filter
- Wire-close bags with write-on strip
- Perforated-Top plain blender bags
- Wire-close bags with write-on strip and sponge sampler (including polyurethane sponge with detachable handle and Buffered Peptone Water or D/E Neutralizing Broth)
- Plain wire-close bags with species sponge (natural cellulose dry sponge)
- Sterile poultry templates
Bags must be manufactured in the United States of America, made from clear, strong co-extrusion low-density and linear low-density virgin polyethylene, and capable of withstanding temperatures up to 82°C and freezing. They must feature strong perimeter seals, tear-strip openings, and wire closures (except plain blender bags). A wide variety of sizes and mil thicknesses are specified.
Contract Details
- Contract Type: Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a base period and four one-year option periods, not to exceed five (5) years.
- Set-Aside: Unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a quotation.
- NAICS Code: 541380 - Testing Laboratories and Services (Small Business Size Standard: $19 million).
- Estimated Value: Minimum purchase amount of $50,000, maximum of $1,500,000.
- Place of Performance: Delivery to FSIS laboratories in St. Louis, MO; Albany, CA; and Athens, GA.

Additional Notes
