Steris Sterilizer Equipment Maintenance - Dyess AFB

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide a comprehensive service contract for the maintenance, calibration, and emergency repair of two (2) STERIS sterilizers, including their steam generators and boiler tanks, located at the 7th Medical Group (7 MDG) Dental Clinic.

• Provide preventive maintenance (PM), calibration services, and support for two specific STERIS sterilizer models (AMSCO 400 16X16X26 PVAC SD SLIDE REC ELEC 208V, Serial Numbers 030922505 and 030802518).

• Perform unlimited emergency repair visits, including parts and labor, with work commencing within 24 hours of notification.

• Provide technical telephonic assistance to operators and Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMET).

• Perform annual calibrations in November and quarterly PMs (four times annually) in accordance with manufacturer specifications and the Preventive Maintenance Checklist (PMCL).

• Conduct at least one chamber cleaning per year for each unit.

• Furnish and replace all necessary parts to restore equipment to a serviceable condition at no additional cost to the Government. All parts must be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or manufactured to OEM specifications.

• All work must be performed by competent, experienced, and OEM-certified service personnel.

• Contractor must be a qualified/authorized OEM Certified Agent.

• Documentation of all services performed and parts used must be provided to the BMET office within seven (7) working days.

• Test equipment used for calibration must be calibrated IAW manufacturer specifications or within the last twelve (12) months against a National Bureau of Standards traceable standard.

• Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) outlines performance objectives and monitoring methods.

• Place of Performance: 7th Medical Group, Dyess Air Force Base, Texas.

• Operational Hours: 0700-1700.

• Service visits are available Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, excluding holidays.

• Contractor must have ready access to an inventory of OEM replacement parts.

• Service technicians must report to the BMET department and follow sign-in/sign-out procedures.

• Government property is not to be removed without a signed property pass.

• The document includes provisions regarding telecommunications and video surveillance services/equipment (Section 889).

This solicitation is for preventative maintenance services for two (2) Government-owned Steris sterilizers located at Dyess Air Force Base. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type with a base period and four 12-month option periods.
