Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition

This document justifies restricting competition for the procurement of thirty (30) Sediment Strainers (NSN - 4730-01-728-6290, Part # XST266MDXX). These strainers are a critical component of the Auxiliary Sea Water Cooling System for the U.S. Coast Guard's 154' WPC coastal patrol boat main diesel engines. They are essential for removing debris from seawater to prevent damage to the cooling pump and heat exchangers, ensuring the proper operation and reliability of the engines and vessel propulsion.
