Certification data must be submitted via WAWF to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (DODAAC N50286) for review and acceptance prior to shipment. No material is to be shipped prior to acceptance.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain a quality system compliant with ISO-9001 (or MIL-I-45208 as an alternate) and calibration system requirements of ISO-10012 or ANSI-Z540.3 with ISO-17025 (or MIL-STD-45662). Government Quality Assurance (GQA) at source is required.
  • Inspection: Final inspection requires zero defects for lot acceptance. Material, traceability markings, and certification reports must be 100% inspected.
  • Mercury-Free: Materials must be free of mercury and mercury-containing compounds.
  • Configuration Control: Maintain total equipment baseline configuration and submit Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for Class I or II changes.
