Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide manufacturer-trained and certified technician services for the repair, annual preventive maintenance, calibration, and remedial services for one (1) Studer S41 CNC grinding machine to ensure it is in fully operational condition.

• Perform annual preventive maintenance (PM) including inspection, calibration, and remedial services.

• Provide all necessary labor, tools, materials, supplies, equipment, and transportation for on-site services.

• Ensure all work complies with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technical specifications and PWS requirements.

• Supply new, non-refurbished parts for repairs.

• Provide software upgrades, including licensing agreements, and create system backups before and after configuration changes.

• Remove and dispose of replacement parts and materials, and transfer hazardous waste and scrap metals to PHNSY & IMF.

• One (1) routine, 5-day, on-site preventive maintenance service within the period of performance.

• Inspection reports for PM services due within five (5) business days after completion.

• Calibration traceable to NIST standards, with stickers and certificates provided.

• Remedial repairs require prior approval from the Contracting Officer, with repair quotes detailing scope, labor, materials, and costs.

• Remedial repair reports due within five (5) business days after completion.

• All requirements are to be met with 100% delivery and compliance.

• Period of Performance: Twelve months after award, on an annual basis, for the base and four (4) option years.

• Place of Performance: Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF).

• Contractor must be an authorized, OEM-trained, certified technician; no sub-contract technicians allowed.

• All work restricted to U.S. citizens and U.S. nationals only.

• Contractor personnel must comply with safety, environmental, security, and operational security requirements as specified in the attachments.

• Contractor personnel must clearly identify themselves as contractors and not government employees.

• Contractor personnel must not manage, supervise, or task government employees or military personnel.

• Normal business hours are 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays.

• Portable Electronic Devices (PEDs) usage is strictly regulated within the Controlled Industrial Area (CIA).
