Scope of Work

- Chinhae/Jinhae Destruction: Destruction and disposal of two 3.3m x 10.6m Yokohama brand fender sets. This includes providing detailed proof of destruction, such as cutting out and providing the stamped serial number section.
Contractor must obtain all necessary port clearances and passes for working within Republic of Korea (ROK) Naval Bases. No GFE is to be removed from ROK Navy bases without explicit approval.

Evaluation

Special Requirements
- Authorization: This solicitation is intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business in S. Korea, as prescribed by DFARS 252.225-7042. Prime Contractors outside of S. Korea must submit documentation demonstrating compliance.
- Equipment: Requires a 200-ton mobile crane, air compressor, small boat with divers, pressure washing equipment, cutting equipment, forklifts, air/freshwater hoses, and specific shackles/chain lengths.
- Personnel: Crane operators, riggers, divers, and drivers must have ROK Navy Base access. An English-speaking driver and mid-sized sedan are required for USN Representatives 24 hours daily.
- Fender Handling: Familiarity with Submarine Hydro-Pneumatic Fender Systems (HPFS) is preferred.
