The Department of the Navy (NAVSEA HQ), through the Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Undersea, intends to issue a presolicitation for the Submarine Rescue Operations Maintenance Contractor (SROMC). This effort will provide continued support for the operation and maintenance of the U.S. Navy Submarine Rescue System (SRS), transitioning to an International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) commercial classification system. Scope of Work
The SROMC will be responsible for maintaining the SRS in a constant high state of readiness. This includes providing appropriate and sufficient personnel and services necessary for the engineering, management, technical and logistic support, mobilization, deployment, operation, storage, and repair of the SRS on a 24-hour-per-day, 7-day-a-week basis. The SRS comprises the Pressurized Rescue Module System (PRMS), the Submarine Decompression System (SDS), and the Assessment/Underwater Work System (AUWS), capable of transferring personnel from distressed submarines up to 2,000 feet seawater.

Acquisition Details
