SPECIAL NOTICE
NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE AWARD FOR BENCHMARK MINERAL INTELLIGENCE SUBSCRIPTION
Defense Logistic Agency Contracting Services Office – Columbus Division #3 (DCSO-C3) has a requirement to procure Benchmark Mineral Intelligence License 1 – Full Suite product, for Strategic Materials (SM). This will be an online subscription for multiple users.
DLA DCSO-C3 intends to solicit and award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Benchmark Mineral Intelligence. The period of performance will be twelve (12) months. This action will be conducted in accordance with FAR PART 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR PART 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 513120, Periodical Publishers.
The Government intends to solicit only with Benchmark Mineral Intelligence and to award this requirement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). The anticipated award date is no later than January 15, 2026. The prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database in order to be eligible for award.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. No Request for Proposals will be issued. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement demonstrating the ability to provide the requested services, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored However, all information received within fifteen (15) calendar days from the publication of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement for competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
