The BQM-177A is a subsonic, recoverable, aerial target system that emulates Anti-Ship Cruise Missile (ASCM) and Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) in support of weapons system test and evaluation.
This synopsis is published for information purposes only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for the action described herein is 336411.
GENERAL INFORMATION: KUAS is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the SSAT BQM-177A and is the only known qualified, responsible source that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience, and technical data required to fulfill the requirements specified. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.
