• A Forest Service archeological monitor must be present for ground-disturbing activities over the lower 20' of new stair and aggregate tread construction (monitor required for a maximum of 1 day, with 14 days' notice).

• Refueling and servicing of equipment must occur more than 300 feet from ordinary high-water marks of adjacent streams.

• Work occurring after August 15th requires confirmation from the CO and input from the Sawtooth NRA fish biologist to ensure no adverse impact on spawning Chinook Salmon.

• Utilities are not available at the site; toilet facilities are available.

• Traffic control and construction signing must conform to MUTCD and be approved.

• Work camps, staging, and storage areas require CO approval; overnight camping is not allowed on site.

• The Contractor acknowledges responsibility for understanding site conditions and costs.
