This solicitation is for the "J. Strom Thurmond Lake and Dam Campsite and Impact Rock Supply and Delivery." The government is procuring aggregate materials, specifically 2" Crusher Run (Crush and Run) and #131 Screenings (3/8" minus).

• 2" Crusher Run (Crush and Run): Approximately 3,374 Short Tons. Must be well-graded crushed stone suitable for structural base material, meeting USACE Specification for well-graded 2-inch minus crushed stone with fines. Must meet compaction requirements per ASTM D1557 and durability/soundness requirements (LA Abrasion, ASTM C88). DOT Equivalents: GDOT: GAB, SCDOT: ABC.

• #131 Screenings (3/8" Minus with Fines): Approximately 3,374 Short Tons. Must consist of crushed stone particles sized 3/8 inch and smaller, including fine granular material. Must meet USACE Specification for crushed stone screenings 3/8-inch minus with fines. Must meet gradation and cleanliness requirements per ASTM C33. DOT Equivalents: GDOT: Size 10 Screenings, SCDOT: Fine Aggregate Screenings.

• Delivery: To designated Government sites at J. Strom Thurmond Lake and Dam. Coordination with the Government POC is required at least 48 hours in advance. Materials must be delivered clean, uncontaminated, and protected during transport.

• Load Tickets: Required for every truckload, including gross/tare/net weight, date/time of loading, quarry source, material type, and truck identification. Must be submitted to the Government POC for verification.

• Offloading: Offeror is responsible for providing all necessary equipment for offloading; Government will not provide equipment or personnel.

  • Factor 2: Past Performance (Pass/Fail): Requires evidence of delivering at least 6,748 tons of aggregate within the past five years.
