This is a Sources Sought Notice issued in accordance with FAR Part 10. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research to identify potential sources and industry capabilities that will inform the development of the forthcoming solicitation.
This notice does not constitute a solicitation, request for proposal, or commitment by the Government. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. Responses are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Respondents are responsible for all costs incurred in responding to this notice.
The J. Strom Thurmond Project requires the supply of park amenities no later than March 1, 2026.
Items include:
1. Picnic Tables
2. Grills
3. Lantern Holders
4. Fire Rings
5.Utility tables
6. Trash can holders
7. Trash cans
8. Plastic composit timbers
Specifications for the required park amenities are provided in the attached document. These new amenities will replace those destroyed by Hurricane Helene and are essential to restoring safe public access to the affected areas. Timely delivery is critical failure to provide the amenities by the specified date will render the areas unusable and adversely impact the mission of the J. Strom Thurmond Dam and Lake Recreation.
All deliveries shall be made to 220 Clarks Hill Hwy, Clarks Hill, SC 29821. The delivery site is accessible to both semi-trucks and standard delivery trucks; however, all vehicles must be equipped with a lift gate
