Quick Summary
The U.S. Air Force (421st SCMS), under the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA Aviation at Oklahoma City), is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Synopsis to identify potential sources for the new manufacture of a specific aircraft support bearing end item (NSN: 2840013392241NZ, P/N: 4079331). This effort aims to determine the optimal acquisition strategy for future spares procurement. Responses are requested by April 4, 2026.
Scope of Work
Potential sources must be capable of providing all necessary labor, materials, facilities, and equipment for the new manufacture of the specified aircraft part. This includes component parts, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping. Additionally, capabilities may extend to supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting, long-lead time parts procurement, managing diminishing manufacturing sources, addressing material shortage issues, and shipping serviceable assets. This requirement is for new spares and does not involve repair services. Nonrecurring engineering costs may be associated with becoming an approved source.
