Purpose & Scope
This opportunity seeks repair services for the specified SWITCH. Key requirements include adherence to the contractor's repair/overhaul standard practices, manuals, and directives, including drawings, technical orders, and approved repair standards. Packaging and marking must comply with "BEST STANDARD COMMERCIAL PACKAGING FOR OVERSEAS SHIPMENT." All items must meet contract requirements, and inspection is part of the contractor's quality program. The contractor must perform all inspection and testing as per original manufacturer specifications. Unique Item Identification (UII) is required for delivered items with a Government unit acquisition cost of $5,000 or more, or as specified.
Contract Details
The contract type will be Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Not-to-Exceed (NTE), or Estimated (EST). Quotes limited to test and evaluation will not be accepted. Contractors must provide a throughput constraint for each NSN. The Induction Expiration Date is 365 days after the contract award date. Repair Turnaround Time (RTAT) is a critical factor; failure to meet RTAT will result in a price reduction unless the delay is excusable.
Submission & Evaluation
Quotes, representations, and necessary certifications must be submitted electronically via email to DARIAN.M.HOLLEY.CIV@US.NAVY.MIL. Submissions must include: repair unit price, total price, RTAT, price type (FFP, NTE, or EST), and new unit price. If the requested RTAT cannot be met, company capacity constraints must be provided. Quotes must have a minimum expiration date of 90 days. The submission deadline for quotations is June 1, 2026, at 8:30 PM EDT.
Eligibility & Set-Aside
This RFQ is NOT a small business set-aside. The ultimate awardee must be an authorized repair source.
