Due to the critical nature of this item, extensive quality assurance is mandated. This includes pre-award surveys for new manufacturers, 100% inspection for critical and major characteristics, and specific sampling rates per ANSI Z1.4. First Article Testing (FAT) is required, involving a one-unit test, 100% inspection of all dimensions, and a detailed report submission within 15 days of testing.
