Next steps
Validate eligibility requirements, assign capture owner, and schedule partner outreach to confirm teaming strategy before submission planning.
Quick Summary
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is conducting market research through this Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential sources for increasing the Tactical Tomahawk Maritime Strike (MST) capacity. This RFI aims to inform the acquisition strategy for a proposed future sole-source acquisition to ensure production continuity and mitigate schedule risks for fleet delivery objectives. Responses are due January 27, 2026.
Scope of Work
NAVAIR seeks to increase production throughput of MST configured Tactical Tomahawk (TACTOM) All-Up-Round (AUR) missiles. This effort includes, but is not limited to, manufacturing process improvements, procurement of long-lead materials, tooling and facilities upgrades, and workforce stabilization. The goal is to reduce production gaps, address supplier and industrial base constraints, and support timely execution of planned and future MST lot deliveries. The incumbent contractor is Raytheon Company.
