Quick Summary

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole-source contract modification to Raytheon for Tactical Tomahawk Maritime Strike Supply Chain Management Data Deliverables. Scope of Work

The contract will focus on obtaining supply chain management data deliverables. This data is essential for:

  • Illuminating the Weapons Industrial Base.
  • Supporting modeling and forecasting of demand, capacity, and capability within the industrial base.
  • Enabling efficient aggregation of common materials and their sources across PEO Weapons.
  • Developing mitigation strategies for supply base disruptions.

Contract & Timeline

Justification for Sole Source

NAVAIR intends to award this effort to Raytheon as the only responsible source. Raytheon possesses the requisite technical data, manufacturing capability, and production experience necessary to execute the requirement within the schedule and without unacceptable duplication of cost. Raytheon has been the sole developer, designer, and manufacturer for the Tomahawk Land Attack Missile since 1994 and maintains exclusive control over critical configuration, manufacturing data, and Technical Data Packages (TDPs) for the Tomahawk Block IV, V, and Va AUR missiles. The data is export controlled.
