Establishment of a qualification requirement for tailor made flight suits (uniforms) for members of the Naval Flight Demonstration Squadron. Uniforms must meet safety, operational, and mission requirements.

(5) A precautionary notice that when a product is submitted for qualification testing, the applicant must furnish any specific information that may be requested of the manufacturer before testing will begin; and
A sample of four (4) flight suits (Royal Blue (2), Navy Blue, and Anniversary Yellow) are required to be manufactured and submitted for the purpose of determining that the Contractor, prior to award for production, can produce uniforms that comply with the iconic and recognizable design, uniformity, safety and technical requirements of the contract.
Contractors should expect to measure four (4) individuals in person and produce four (4) prototypes/samples for evaluation.
(6) The approximate time period following submission of a product for qualification testing within which the applicant will be notified whether the product passed or failed the qualification testing (see 9.202(a)(4)).
