Scope of Work
The project addresses degradation and equipment failures in the TAN firewater systems. Key tasks include:
- Pump Houses (TAN-614, 665 & 1612): Removal and replacement of corroded piping, fire sprinkler risers, and spool pieces. Installation of low-point drains, isolation control valves, and freeze protection.
- Tank Distribution (TAN-748 & 1749): Replacement of distribution piping and demolition/replacement of tank heaters with associated instrumentation, controls, piping, valving, conduit, and wiring.
- TAN-665 Fire Riser: Removal of existing riser and outdoor bell. Installation of a new fire riser with gauges, waterflow switch, main drain, backflow preventer, OS&Y valves, and a horn strobe. Demolition and replacement of tank heaters and associated systems.
