Purpose & Overview
NASA/NSSC requires specialized technology research in horizon scanning to support strategic foresight initiatives. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Shared Services Center (NSSC) plans to award a sole source contract to PRESCOUTER INC, citing their unique capability as the sole provider for this effort. The work will be performed at NASA/Glenn Research Center (GRC).
Scope of Work
This effort supports NASA's Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate's (ARMD) Innovative Concepts (IC) team. Key tasks include:
- Conducting market research on societal needs, trends, and capabilities.
- Integrating social listening, patent, and academic literature scraping, and company information into the MADI system for 'whitespace' visualization and search.
- Providing AI Consumer Insight (AICI) analysis using data analytics and sentiment analysis across various platforms.
- Updating previous PreScouter NASA work, including belief systems analysis and creative experiments.
- Assisting NASA in identifying broader trends across social, political, and technical landscapes.
- Conducting periodic trend reports and topic briefings based on IC team workstreams.
