The U.S. Embassy of Tegucigalpa, Honduras has a requirement for a contractor to provide maintenance service to audiovisual equipment at the US Embassy in Tegucigalpa. The contractor shall provide the service to eliminate system malfunction, breakdown and deterioration when windows sound systems are activated and operating. Audio must be intelligible at the necessary volume and Video must be free of noise and distortion.

Please note that this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, prepared in accordance with the format FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued

The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed-price type contract.

The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.

All contractors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations.

This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements
