Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, reporting, overhauling, and returning the specified Terminal Data Processing units. This includes:
- Opening and inspecting each unit.
- Providing an inspection report detailing required labor hours, hourly rates, replaced parts with costs, and additional costs (packaging, marking, freight, delivery).
- Performing overhaul/repair contingent upon USCG approval of the inspection report.
- Ensuring units have electrostatic protection per MIL-PRF-81705E Type III, Class I.
- Individually packaging each unit per MIL-STD-2073-1E w/Change 1 and ASTM-D-3951-10.
- Marking each item per MIL-STD-129R, including "Coast Guard SFLC Material, Condition 'A'" and specific identification markings. Bar coding is required if capable.
- Providing a standard manufacturer's warranty, and a two-year guarantee against defects for "onboard repair" or "system stock" items after delivery.
- Substitute parts are not acceptable, and the USCG cannot provide proprietary data, drawings, or schematics.
