Additional Notes
If the contractor is required to implement NIST SP 800-171, a current assessment (not more than 3 years old) is necessary, unless items are identified as COTS and information is provided to the contracting officer. For non-manufacturers, traceability to the manufacturer and part number is required (e.g., authorized dealer letter, RFQ/quotation from approved source).
