Scope of Work
The contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and services to test and inspect government-owned Electrical Personal Protection Equipment (EPPE). This includes insulating gloves, blankets, and matting, ensuring they are in full working order and comply with NAVSEA Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Control Manual for NNSY, Chapter 230-Electrical Safety Policy. The contractor will also add identification numbers to insulating gloves as provided by Safety Repair.
Key Contractor Responsibilities
- Service up to 200 Insulating Blankets.
- Service up to 200 Insulating Switchboard Mats.
- Service up to 4000 Insulating Gloves.
- Add numbers to up to 4000 Insulating Gloves.
- Complete testing and delivery within 4 weeks of equipment pickup.
- Conduct a minimum of 4 pickups and deliveries per year.
- Comply with general specifications for testing voltages based on equipment class.
Government Responsibilities
- NNSY Safety Repair will request inspections as needed.
- NNSY will have all equipment ready for pickup.
- The Government will furnish Arc-Flash Gloves, Blankets, and Mats.
