Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the requirements for the delivery, assembly, and installation of Testing Room Equipment for the 346th Training Squadron (346 TRS) at Buildings 1423 and 1456, located at Port Hueneme, CA.

• Delivery and Installation: The contractor shall deliver and install new furniture in Buildings 1423 and 1456.

• Furniture Specifications: Furniture shall consist of laminate panels in a glossy black finish with matte black grommets.

• Building 1423, Room 107: Requires 1 Single Downview Training Desk (approx. 36"W x 30"D x 30"H) and 7 Dual Downview Training Desks (approx. 71"W x 30"D x 30"H). Both desk types support VESA mountable monitors up to 24", include keyboard/mouse drawers, worksurface grommets, power centers, multi-plug outlet power strips, wire management channels, leveling glides, and removable privacy visors. Desks shall have tinted glass and an ultra small desktop unit mounted to the side panel for accessibility.

• Building 1456, Room 104: Requires 1 Single Downview Training Desk, 7 Dual Downview Training Desks, and 15 Office Task Chairs.

• Office Task Chairs: Approximate weight capacity of 250 lbs, weight of 23 lbs, depth of 25.75"-26", height of 35"-39", width of 19.25". Chairs have no armrests, 5 casters, leather seats, and mesh backs.

• Government Responsibilities: The 346 TRS will clear existing desks from the rooms.

• Site Maintenance: Contractor must maintain work areas in a neat, clean, and safe condition, including providing and removing temporary signage and barriers. All trash, debris, and refuse related to contractor personnel must be removed daily.

• Clean Up: Contractor is responsible for removing all packaging materials and refuse containers, and restoring the facility to its original state, repairing any damage caused by their personnel or equipment.

• Location: Buildings 1423 and 1456, 480 West Road, Port Hueneme, CA, 93043.

• Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). Work outside these hours or on Federal holidays may be permitted at no additional cost to the Government.

• Delivery: No loading dock for Building 3885. Unloading will be from the parking lot directly in front, which will be blocked off for delivery. Contractor must protect service entrance and flooring.

• Site POC: Contractor must designate an on-site project manager (Site POC) available during normal duty hours.

• Warranty: Manufacturer and Standard Commercial warranties for individual pieces must be provided, along with contact information and operation manuals.

• Acceptance: Final acceptance inspection by an authorized Government representative.

• Records Management: Contractor shall manage all data created for Government use in accordance with Air Force Records Management procedures.

• Contract Management: No changes to the scope of service without a modification executed by the Contracting Officer.

Request for Information (RFI)

This RFI is issued by the Department of the Air Force, 502D Contracting Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio, for market research purposes. The government is seeking information to identify contractors capable of and interested in providing Testing Room Equipment for Buildings 1423 and 1456 at Port Hueneme, CA 93043. Responses will be used for information and planning purposes and are strictly voluntary.

• Document Reference: The RFI references a "draft" Statement of Work (SOW) dated 20 April 2026 and "Salient Characteristics – Testing Room Equipment" as attachments.
• Voluntary Nature: All information provided is strictly voluntary. This RFI is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ), and no RFQ currently exists. Do not request a copy of an RFQ.
• No Pricing: Do not submit pricing information in response to this RFI.

The RFI asks vendors to address the following:

• Interest and capability in providing the supplies/items.

• Estimated delivery time after award (in days).

• Company's status as a small business and socio-economic concerns (if applicable).

• Previous supply experience with military customers.

• Whether items are obtained from a U.S. small business manufacturer (if not a manufacturer).

• Whether pricing is GSA or Open Market.

• Telephone responses will not be accepted.

• Responses must be received no later than Tuesday, 28 April 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time (CDT).

• Responses to this RFI are not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of a future solicitation.

• If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced separately, and interested parties must respond to that announcement.
