• Sheet A3, A1 South Addition Floor Plan:

  • Garage door width changed from 8'-0" to 10'-0".
  • Vinyl strip door kit weather protection added to the garage door.
  • Wall type behind drinking fountain changed from "C1" to "1C".

• Sheet A4, B1 South Elevation: The 8'-0" wide garage door is now graphically shown as 10'-0" wide.

• Sheet A5, B1 Door Types: A note has been added stating, "All stained wood doors to match and be factory finished."

• Sheet A5, C4 Wall Type 1: Wall Type "1C" has been added, reducing the wall height to 8'-0" with a 45-degree beveled top connecting to the existing wall.

• Sheet A5, Room Finish Schedule: Comment "5" has been added, specifying that the full wall behind drinking fountains, Janitor's sink, and eye wash should be painted with Epoxy Paint.

• Sheet A6, Specifications 09250 Gypsum Board, Note 13: Water-resistant gypsum wall board behind the drinking fountain wall has been changed from "green board" to "purple board."

• Sheet E2, Light Fixture Schedule (Basis of Design): The two Light Fixture Schedules have been combined into one.

Questions & Answers / Clarifications

This document provides answers to questions submitted by bidders regarding the IFB Textiles Warehouse Site Visit and Added Fire Alarm Replacement. The questions were submitted on March 24, 2026, and the answers were provided on April 2, 2026.

• Electrical Panel & Grounding:
  • An exterior J-box is acceptable as a splice/extension point for conduits, provided it meets NEC 314 sizing, all conduits are extended to it in a code-compliant manner, and it remains accessible.
  • The existing interior breaker panel can be reused and relocated, but new breakers compatible with the panelboard must be provided, along with a new panel schedule. The panel must be mounted per NEC 110.26.
  • The required 350 kcmil grounding conductor for the new electrical panel to the NEC cabinet, as per TIA-607-B, is technically required by code for the specified distance and configuration, even if it appears excessive.
• Lighting & Conduit:
  • The painting of exposed conduit will be performed by the painting contractor, consistent with architectural finishes, unless otherwise assigned by the General Contractor.
  • The requirement for "No surface mounted conduit to be used to conceal" has been revised to: "All conduit other than pendant conduit shall be concealed within the wall or ceiling." This is incorporated in Revision 2 on Sheet E2.
  • Fixture designations have been added to the lower schedule on Sheet E2 to correspond with the upper fixture schedule, combining them into one main fixture schedule for vendor pricing and coordination.
• Finishes:
