Required features include parking meeting local code, location in a prime commercial office district, contiguous space on one floor, accessible main public and separate employee entrances, and accessible sidewalks. If above ground, at least two accessible elevators are needed. The space must allow 24/7 access and meet Government standards for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability. A fully serviced lease is required, and the space must not be in the 1-percent-annual chance floodplain. Entities must also familiarize themselves with telecommunications prohibitions under Section 889 of the FY19 NDAA.
