This solicitation is for the procurement of Thermo-Vac Transformer Oil Purifiers. The government is seeking to acquire these units to maintain and process transformer oil.

• Thermo-Vac Transformer Oil Purifier: The core deliverable is a fully integrated, skid-mounted oil purification unit designed to mechanically recondition mineral insulating transformer oil to High Dielectric Performance Grade (HDPG) specifications.

• Processing Capabilities: The system must be capable of vacuum dehydration, vacuum degasification, and final particulate filtration to 1 micron. It must also be able to process and hold a minimum of 55 gallons of oil per batch or continuous cycle, operate with a high-efficiency vacuum pump achieving 0.5 Torr, and run on 440 VAC, 3-phase, 50/60 Hz power.

• Output Oil Specifications: The processed oil must meet specific electrical properties, including a dielectric breakdown voltage of 50 kV, water content of 5 ppm, dissipation factor @ 25C of 0.10%, and volume resistivity @ 25C of 5-10 ohm-cm.
