Statement of Work (SOW)

This contract aims to provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to the HiCAM Project Leadership Team for composite aircraft manufacturing technology assessment and commercial production modeling. The overarching goal of the HiCAM project is to demonstrate manufacturing approaches and technologies for high-rate composite aircraft structures, enabling reduced cost and improved production cycles by fiscal year 2029.

• Provide SME support for the HiCAM Project Leadership Team, including potential Task Lead roles.

• Collaborate with NASA and other ACC partners on defined work.

• Perform independent work, engage with stakeholders, and be proactive.

• Develop manufacturing models for people, processes, tooling, equipment, Takt time, and materials for specified production rates.

• Run discrete event simulations to estimate factory work area and costs.

• Provide recurring briefings on technical progress, milestone completion, and technology assessments.

• Review and update Activity-Level Models (ALMs) and discrete event simulations for Key Performance Parameters (KPPs).

• Recommend innovative technical approaches for production system assessment and improvement.

• Collaborate with Cooperative Research Teams (CRTs) on project tasks, deliverables, risks, objectives, and schedule.

• Provide written KPP and TRL/MRL assessment guidance.

• Review and update HiCAM wing and fuselage assembly baseline models and system-level technology assessments.

• Incorporate manufacturing process improvements across models.

• Develop and update hybrid production systems for wing and fuselage vision systems.

• Perform SPACE RT Validation Testing and related testing as specified.
