The following is the DOR response to RFI #7: 

"The LED Text Sign needs to meet both UFC requirements and Tinker AFB

Standards and have a second line that can scroll message from left to right. The

proposed text sign attached to this RFI will not meet the Tinker AFB Standards. The

LED Text Sign is not required to be Monaco, but will need to meet both UFC and

Tinker AFB Standards.

If the LED Text Sign installed does not meet the required classification, the

enclosure for the LED Text Sign will need to be listed or approved for installation

within a Class 1/Division 1 area. The proposed enclosure does not meet Class

1/Division 1 and the use of a purging/pressurization system to achieve the

classification is not approved. The installation is concerned about using any

enclosure that would drive additional maintenance requirements."

After review of the project specific documents, if you are a Tinker AFB – MAC BOA Holder, please send an email to the Contracting Points of Contact as an RSVP stating you are interested in attending the Initial Site Visit.  Your RSVP email must be received within 5 calendar days from the posting of this project.  In your RSVP, please let us know if all personnel that will be attending the Initial Site Visit have base access.  If anyone requires base access, you must forward with your RSVP the Entry Access List (EAL) so that we can know how many personnel require base access. 

After receipt of your RSVP and EAL if required, an Initial Site Visit will be coordinated, and the Initial Site Visit is set for Thursday, June 12th at 10:30 A.M. CST on Tinker AFB, B2280.
