Scope of Work
The contractor will provide services for TMU-72A/B, TMU-72B/B, and TMU-72/B Pressure Coolant Tanks (Part Numbers: 639AS6739, 639AS10789, 639AS6740). Key services include:
- Recertification (Hydrostatic testing - Overhaul): Disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, part inspection/replacement, reassembly, testing to manufacturing standards, and Certificate of Conformance (CofC) for TMU-72A/B and TMU-72B/B bottles. Delivery within 60 days after receipt of Government Furnished Property (GFP).
- Modification: Conversion of TMU-72/B to TMU-72B/B configuration, including recertification. Delivery within 120 days after receipt of GFP.
- Beyond Economical Repair (BER): Disassembly, inspection, marking as unrepairable, securing openings, returning in original containers, and providing documentation for all TMU bottle types. Delivery within 120 days after receipt of GFP. All work must comply with AS-2986 and AS-6191 standards.
