The acquisition was set aside for Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB).

Payment will be made via the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP).

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To ensure fire extinguishers are fully functional, compliant with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements, certified, and ready for emergency use.

• Provide comprehensive fire extinguisher services, including maintenance, inspection, testing, recharge, refilling, replacement, and disposal.

• Services are required for multiple Tongass National Forest facilities throughout Southeast Alaska.

• All services must be performed in accordance with this PWS, manufacturer's technical manuals, and applicable federal, state, and local standards, laws, and regulations.

• Contractor is responsible for visiting each location and coordinating services with the COR.

• Annual maintenance, inspection, and certification (Task 1).

• Internal maintenance for rechargeable dry chemical units (Task 2).

• Hydrostatic testing and certification (Task 3).

• Replacement and disposal of fire extinguishers (Task 4).

• Furnishment of missing fire extinguishers (Task 5).

• Acceptable performance is defined as 98% of the requirement satisfied.

• Performance will be monitored via Periodic inspections and/or random sampling by the COR and/or GTM.

• Remedies for defective services include rework at no cost to the Government.

• Period of Performance (POP): 1 Base Period of 12 months and 4 Option Periods of 12 months each.

• Estimated POP: Base Period (Date of Award - April 30, 2027) through Option Period 4 (May 1, 2030 - April 30, 2031).

• Place of Performance: Multiple Tongass National Forest facilities throughout Southeast Alaska (Hoonah, Craig, Juneau, Ketchikan, Petersburg, Sitka, Thorne Bay, Wrangell, and Yakutat).

• Contractor must obtain all required licenses and permits.

• Contractor must hold current certification in fire protection services and demonstrate experience with NFPA and OSHA standards.

• Technicians must be trained and certified in accordance with NFPA 10.

• Contractor must provide a Contract Manager and a Quality Control Representative.

• Contractor is responsible for all travel.

• Contractor must comply with all security regulations for access to government facilities.

• Contractor employees must wear nametags.

• Government will not provide Government-Furnished Property or Utilities.
