Brand Name or Equal Justification

This document justifies the acquisition of two (2) Taylor GT60 Triple Mast Forklifts using simplified acquisition procedures. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NSWC), Panama City Division is the contracting activity. The total dollar value is expected to be above micro-purchase levels but not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold of $350,000.00. Funding will be provided by Navy Working Capital Funds.

• Two (2) Taylor GT60 Triple Mast Forklifts.

• The forklifts must meet specific salient characteristics detailed in the document, covering:

  • Operator Platform: Conforms to ANSI B56.1 standards, includes ingress/egress handrails, operator presence system, adjustable convex rear view mirror, tilt steering wheel, two-pedal brake with inching, and LCD operator dash display.
  • Electrical: 12 Volt system, electric horn, keyswitch-actuated amber strobe light, reverse-actuated warning alarms, and compliance with ANSI B56.1 standard, UL Classified Type D and LP.
