Scope of Work
The requirement involves the safe, secure, and timely transit of one (1) AN/TPY-4 radar system and its components. Key elements include:
- Cargo: Main Radar Unit - Transceiver Group (up to 30,000 lbs), Processor Group (up to 27,000 lbs), and associated components.
- Origin: White Sands Missile Range, NM, 88002.
- Destination: Lockheed Martin, 497 Electronic Pkwy, Liverpool, NY, 13088 (approx. 2,160 miles).
- Required Vehicles:
- One or more Stepdeck Trailers (48-53 ft, min. 48,000 lbs payload) for the main radar array.
- One Van with Liftgate (15-16 ft box truck) for ancillary components.
- One Dedicated Truck with Liftgate (20-26 ft box truck) for Power Equipment Group and sensitive electronics.
- Services: Provision of vehicles, qualified drivers (security-cleared as needed), and logistical support. Drivers will position vehicles for loading/unloading.
- Loading/Unloading: The U.S. Government and Lockheed Martin will provide all personnel and material handling equipment for loading and unloading. The vendor is not required to provide these services.
- Compliance: Adherence to all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) and federal regulations.

A signed Bill of Lading (BOL) is required upon pickup and delivery.
