This Sources Sought notice aims to identify qualified contractors capable of providing target support and training aids for demolition, assault breacher, ballistic, thermal, and mechanical breaching training. Scope of Work

The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive training site support, including the construction and provision of various training aids and targets. This involves:

  • Supplying materials for wood, brick, CMU (filled, unfilled, reinforced) doors, walls, and associated barriers.
  • Constructing targets before and during the course, and cleaning up targets during and post-course execution.
  • Providing specific items such as steel sheets, expanded steel, steel plates, CMU blocks, chain-link fencing, steel I-beams, oxygen bottles, and target vehicles.
  • Constructing and installing various types of doors (medium, heavy fire/filled wood, light/heavy metal, custom "Middle Eastern" type, "Jail Door" type) with specific hardware and barricading.
  • Building concrete rebar reinforced walls, cinder block walls (filled/unfilled), double thickness red brick walls, and "Race Walls" with specific layering.
  • Constructing wood stud framed sandbag bunkers and unfilled cinder block buildings for shoulder-fired ranges.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of special operations experience with intimate knowledge of 75th Ranger Regiment breaching TTPs.
  • Minimum 5 years past performance in supporting similar special operations breaching contracts.
  • On-call/recall capabilities within a 60-minute response time.
  • Expert understanding of Net Explosive Weight (NEW) calculations, demolition charge construction, blast overpressure effects, explosives theory, energetics, and military range operations.
  • Expert level post-breach structural analysis and technical evaluations.
  • Ability to assist in developing targetry for tactical, special operations full mission profile (FMPs) scenarios.
  • Adherence to safety, environmental compliance, and security requirements (Secret clearance preferred).
