Amendment / Modification

• The purpose of this amendment (0001) to Solicitation SPRRA2-26-R-0012 is to change the set-aside and extend the solicitation closing date.

• The set-aside has been changed from a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Set-Aside to a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.

• The solicitation closing date has been extended to January 23, 2026, at 4:00 PM Central Standard Time (CST).

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This solicitation is for the procurement of TRANSDUCER, SWITCH A, intended for use in the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS). It is a Firm Fixed Price, Single Purchase Contract (SPC) effort.

• Government First Article (GFAT) is required. The test item will not be destroyed as part of testing and will not be retained as a material standard.

• Item Identification and Valuation (IUID) markings are required.

• Arms Export Control is applicable. Technical Data Packages (TDPs) will be provided via the DOD SAFE site and require a request via email to the contracting specialist. Interested parties have 7 calendar days to retrieve the TDP.

• Export Control requires applicable certifications to be current for both the quoter and manufacturer.

• Serial numbering is required.

• Special Packaging Instructions are detailed in Attachment 0001.

• Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price, Single Purchase Contract (SPC).

• Period of Performance:

  • CLIN 0001AA (First Article): 1 EA, within 400 days after contract award.
  • CLIN 0001AB (Production Quantity): 199 EA, within 845 days after contract award.
  • CLIN 0001AC (Production Quantity): 1 EA, within 445 days after contract award.

• Delivery Schedule: Specific delivery dates are outlined for each CLIN.

• Proposal Submission Deadline: 2025-12-15 at 16:00 P.M. local time.

• Evaluation Criteria: Award will be made on a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. Proposals must meet minimum technical requirements, including all terms, conditions, representations, certifications, and technical requirements. Pricing will be evaluated for reasonableness. Materially unbalanced pricing may result in rejection.

• Submission Instructions: Offers must be submitted in original and copies to the specified address. Late submissions, modifications, and withdrawals are subject to Section L, Provision No. 52.214-7 or 52.215-1.

• This requirement is a set-aside for Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) firms only. Only offers from WOSB firms will be considered.

• Defense Priority and Allocations System (DPAS): This is a DO DPAS rated order. Contractors must notify DLA within 15 days of receipt of order if the rated order cannot be fulfilled as written.

• Technical Data Package (TDP): Access requires a request via email and has a 7-day retrieval window.

• First Article Test: 1 unit for testing, with 45 days for Government testing, evaluation, and notification.
