Quick Summary

The Department of the Navy, specifically NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT MECH, has issued a Solicitation for the repair of TRANSDUCER,PRESSURE units. This opportunity requires a Repair Turnaround Time (RTAT) of 65 days and mandates Government Source Inspection (GSI). The resultant award will be bilateral, requiring contractor acceptance. Quotes are due by February 20, 2026.

Scope of Work

This solicitation covers the repair and quality requirements for TRANSDUCER,PRESSURE units. Contractors must verify nomenclature, part number, and NSN. Repair work must adhere to the contractor's standard practices, manuals, and directives, including drawings and technical orders. Marking of items must comply with MIL-STD-130, REV N. Changes in design, material, servicing, or part number require prior approval from the Procurement Contracting Officer.

Contract & Timeline

  • Opportunity Type: Solicitation
  • Set-Aside: None specified
  • Response Due: February 20, 2026, 8:30 PM EST
  • Published Date: January 21, 2026
  • Option: The Government intends to include an option for increased quantity, for which offerors must provide pricing.

Pricing & Evaluation

All pricing must be FIRM. Quotes should include unit price, extended total price, proposed RTAT, and quote validity period (ideally 60+ days). Pricing must account for material in unwhole condition, missing hardware, or damage. If the Government's required 65-day RTAT is not met, a price reduction of one percent of the unit price per unit per month will be applied via a Reconciliation Modification. Offerors not meeting the RTAT must provide an explanation. Consideration for award will only be given to authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item; proof of authorization is required with the offer.

Additional Notes

Contractors are responsible for all inspection requirements and must maintain records for 365 days. Inspection and testing of repaired items must follow original manufacturer's specifications. Packaging must comply with MIL-STD 2073. Companies not currently technically approved can express interest via the NAVSUP Business Opportunities web portal, but this will not delay the current award action. Freight is FOB Origin and handled by the Navy per the Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV) Statement of Work. The Government requires specific awardee and performance location information, including CAGE codes and DCMA DoDAACs.
