Key Requirements & Notes
Due to the complexity and criticality, only actual manufacturers who have successfully completed all required testing by the original design company, or those who have completed testing on similar items deemed critical by the government, will be considered approved sources. Qualified sources currently include Aerospace Maintenance Solutions (CAGE: 449T3) and Simmonds Precision Products, Inc. (CAGE: 89305).
The Government does not own the data or rights to the data needed for manufacturing; interested firms are encouraged to contact the OEM. While this is not a request for competition, all proposals received within 45 days of the synopsis publication will be considered. The final award decision may be based on a combination of technical capability, price, and past performance. The Government is not using Part 12 (Commercial Items) policies, but interested parties may identify commercial item capability within 15 days of this notice. An Ombudsman is available for offeror concerns.
