• Configuration Control: Adherence to MIL-STD-973 for Engineering Change Proposals, Deviations, and Waivers, with submissions to NAVICP-MECH.
• Quality Assurance: Suppliers must maintain an inspection/quality system per MIL-I-45208 or be certified to ISO 9001/9002.

• Evaluation: Award will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) criteria per DFARS 215.101-2-70(a)(1)(i), requiring higher-level inspection.
