Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To repaint the exterior of a C-130 Fuselage Trainer (FuT) at Travis Air Force Base, California, replacing existing markings with those of the 60th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron. The project aims to ensure proper environmental requirements are met and accurately reflect the unit responsible for the FuT.

• Aircraft Washing: Thoroughly wash the aircraft.

• Surface Preparation: Sand existing paint to remove it and provide a smooth surface for new primer/paint. Dispose of sanded materials according to environmental controls.

• Exterior Repair: Repair necessary items on the static display aircraft, including corroded/missing bolts, rivets, and fasteners, to facilitate painting.

• Exterior Painting: Apply appropriate primers and paints. Urethane paint is prohibited. The aircraft will be painted in the fashion displayed in Attachment 2, including the "60 AES Pegasus Symbol" and the words "Always First!". The paint finish should be neat and professional, not requiring "Show Quality" or excessive gloss. The paint must not have blisters, fish eyes, runs, or sags, and should not show roughness or dirt.
