Justification & Eligibility
AFMETCAL has determined that Isotech is the only manufacturer compatible with the current Air Force triple point of water cells and associated hardware. Procuring a direct replacement (Isotech ITL-M-18233) eliminates the need for additional hardware, redundant testing, and ensures the integrity of primary temperature standards. This determination is based on an approved Determination & Findings (D&F) document.
