This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products/services for the repair of a Manitex Model 956 truck mounted crane. The acquisition is in support of Glacier National Park and is a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310, with a small business size standard of $12.5M.

• Repair of a leaking boom cylinder on a Manitex Model 956 truck mounted crane.

• The truck can be delivered to the repair facility within 150 miles of West Glacier, Montana.

• The repair is per the attached Scope of Work.

• Contract Type: Firm fixed price.

• Period of Performance: April 20, 2026, to May 29, 2026.

• Offer Due Date: April 17, 2026, 1300 MDT (as per SF-18, Block 10).

Statement of Work (SOW)

To rebuild a leaking hydraulic cylinder on a 1995 Ford Truck Crane (Manitex, Model 956, Serial Number 22353).

The contractor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment to perform the rebuild in accordance with standard industry practices. Tasks include:

• Disassembling the crane boom to access the cylinder.
• Removing and fully disassembling the hydraulic cylinder.
• Cleaning and inspecting all components for wear, damage, or defects.
• Rebuilding the cylinder, including repairing or replacing worn/damaged internal components.
• Honing the cylinder tube and replacing all seals.
• Reassembling the hydraulic cylinder.
• Pressure testing the rebuilt cylinder.
• Reinstalling the hydraulic cylinder and reassembling the crane boom to its original operating condition.

The rebuilt hydraulic cylinder must be restored to proper working condition, be free of leaks, and operate within manufacturer specifications, using accepted hydraulic repair practices.

A fully rebuilt and pressure-tested hydraulic cylinder installed on the crane truck, with the crane boom reassembled and functioning properly.
