Quick Summary
The Department of the Navy, NSWC Crane, is conducting market research through a Sources Sought announcement to identify industry capabilities for TRUCK, TRAILER, GENERATOR, AND ATV REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE services. This effort seeks to determine potential contractors for maintaining Government Owned Vehicles (GOV), Non-Tactical Vehicles (NTV), and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) at Crane, IN, and surrounding areas. Responses are due by June 16, 2026.
Scope of Work
This requirement covers services and material support to maintain the operational condition of various government assets, including:
- Government Owned Vehicles (GOV): Preventative maintenance and repair for Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) military vehicles. - Non-Tactical Vehicles (NTV): Maintenance for various trailers (gooseneck, flatbed, boxed/enclosed up to 10,000lbs), All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV), and side-by-side 'Polaris' style vehicles. None are electric.
- Government Furnished Equipment (GFE): Support for installed/mounted equipment, including small engine support for generators (2kW to 26kW), antenna mounts, hoist systems, and trailer leveling components. Internal electrical wiring connected to GFE is excluded.
- Tire/Wheel Service: Provided by the vendor for GOV and NTV at local (within 100 miles of NSWC Crane) and remote locations. Remote support requires coordination with accredited local providers.
