Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

• The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, chemicals, tools, materials, supplies, and incidentals for herbicide application.

• Off-road/overland travel with ATVs/UTVs is permitted in non-Wilderness Study Areas (WSA) provided it does not cause resource damage; truck travel off-road is prohibited.

• The contractor must be able to identify target species and differentiate them from native, non-target species. Application to greater than 5% of native plant population will result in contract suspension.

• All equipment and vehicles must be cleaned prior to on-site arrival and between project sites to prevent the introduction and spread of invasive plant species.

• Payment is contingent on 95% of target species being treated within the designated project area, as determined by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) or Project Investigator (PI).

• Final inspection requires submission of all GPS tracklogs and Pesticide Application Records (PARs).

• Contractor must adhere to herbicide label instructions, BLM policy, and federal/state regulations, following the most restrictive guidelines.

• Government reserves the right to inspect equipment and work before, during, and after contract completion.

• Uniformity of herbicide application and rate of application may be tested by the Government.

• Work locations will be provided via maps (shapefile and PDF).

• Spraying operations are permitted only during daylight hours.

• Contractor must hold a current Nevada Professional Applicator License.
